Scale of assessments for the apportionment of the expenses of the United Nations : At the 76th meeting, the Assembly took note of the information in A/63/725/Add.1 that Paraguay had made the payment necessary to reduce its arrears below the amount specified in Article 19 of the Charter of the UN; Appointment of the judges of the United Nations Dispute Tribunal : At the 76th meeting, the Assembly appointed the following judges to serve for 7-year terms on the UN Dispute Tribunal, commencing on 1 July 2009: As full-time judges, Thomas Laker (Germany) is appointed to the Dispute Tribunal in Geneva, Vinod Boolell (Mauritius) is appointed to the Dispute Tribunal in Nairobi, Memooda Ebrahim-Carstens (Botswana) is appointed to the Dispute Tribunal in New York, Coral Shaw (New Zealand) and Goolam Hoosen Kader Meeran (United Kingdom) are appointed as half-time judges; Goolam Hoosen Kader Meeran (United Kingdom) and Memooda Ebrahim-Carstens (Botswana) will serve as full-time and half-time judges, respectively, on the UN Dispute Tribunal for a term of 3 years beginning on 1 July 2009: decision 63/417 A.
