Transmits the interim report on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, prepared by Maurice Copithorne, Special Representative of the Commission on Human Rights, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 53/158 and Economic and Social Council decision 1999/228 of 27 July 1999.
