STM on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse by UN Personnel - Guidance for Facilitators
Abstract
The course aims to increase knowledge of UN policies on sexual exploitation and abuse, including prohibited behaviour and the consequences and impact of sexual misconduct on personnel, field operations and host populations. It comprises common core lessons and assessment for all personnel and a specific additional lesson and assessment for managers and commanders.
The course is now available in French, and both the English and French versions have been made available in different formats to best respond to local contexts (limited internet connection and computers available):
The e-learning self-paced course, available on Inspira for personnel who have access, and on the UN Staff College platform for those who do not have access to Inspira. The e-learning course can also be used in a classroom format if a good internet connection is available but there are insufficient individual computers at personnel’s disposal to take the course.
The power-point presentations to deliver the course in a classroom off-line format, if the internet connection is not available or reliable.
