The purpose of this revised liquidation manual is to provide guidance in the preparation and execution of liquidation plans that will be efficient and effective. This manual has been designed as a handbook. It provides an overview of the liquidation procedures and a description of the roles and responsibilities of senior mission management and Headquarters staff in the liquidation process. The manual also offers specific guidance on the work of the Liquidation task force and the Liquidation team. ssThis manual includes observations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ) and the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS), as well as selections from reports of the Board of Auditors on matters affecting the liquidation. Wherever this material is included in the text, specific references are provided. ssThis Manual supersedes the version from 2003.
